We‘ve recently got some questions relating how our API and Cockpit are handling timezones. So we updated our FAQs to be more transparent.

Here are the facts:

  • The API returns everything as UTC. If you want to see the dates and times in your own timezone please calculate the changes on your own.
  • The Cockpit shows everything in your current timezone. This is retrieved through your browser which asks your local system. If your system has a completely different timezone than your shop or own backend you might get confused here.
